The Bridge Program is no longer accepting applications. There is currently no anticipated reopening date for the program or the waiting list at this time. Please check our web site periodically for the most up-to-date information about the status of the program.

The Bridge Plan is for individuals who find they can’t afford health coverage, but aren’t eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, medical assistance programs, or other health care coverage. Members pay a low monthly premium for up to three years of enrollment, as long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements. Kaiser Permanente covers most of the cost.
To apply for the Bridge program, you’ll need to supply some information along with your completed application. Your Bridge Community Partner can supply you with a form and answer any questions you have.
If you have already applied for the Bridge program and have not received anything within 45 days, and would like a status update, or if you have questions or concerns that cannot be addressed through one of the Community Partners, please call 301.816.6417.
* Rate is valid for an individual plan offered to an individual living in Maryland. The rate of your coverage depends on you satisfying the eligibility requirements, including your income and total assets. Your rate also depends on where you live, and how many individuals or family members are enrolling. Offer is limited to people who live in the coverage area. Applicants are not subject to medical review. For contracts issued between 2/1/10 and 1/31/11, your rate is applicable through 1/31/11. To qualify, applicants cannot be eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or other health care coverage.
